The Conservation Commision meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. in the G.A.R. Room, located on the second floor of City Hall, 45 School St.

The Conservation Commission is the official agency responsible for overseeing the protection and preservation of Brockton’s natural resources. The Planning Department is responsible for the administrative support of the Conservation Commission.

Specific duties include: enforcement of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection laws, wetland preservation, protection of watershed resources.
