The Office
of Veterans’ Services is seeking volunteers to help place American
flags on the graves of deceased veterans at cemeteries in Brockton in
observance of Memorial Day. Volunteers will flag graves at 13 cemeteries throughout the city beginning Monday, May 14th. For more information about how to volunteer, call Veterans’ Services at (508) 580-7850
Stop by Fuller Craft Museum, 455 Oak St.. There is free admission for Brockton residents every Thursday from 5-9 p.m. For more information, call (508) 588-6000.
Brockton’s Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 28th. Step-off time will be 10 a.m. in front of the War Memorial Building, 156 West Elm St.
The Brockton
Police Department will, in partnership with the Executive Office of
Public Safety and Security’s (EOPSS) Highway Safety Division (HSD), the
State Police and over 120 other local departments, is launching a
high-visibility seat belt enforcement mobilization called Click It or Ticket. “Click It or Ticket” mobilization runs from May 14th through June 3rd.
